Laser Level Transmitter

Laser Level Measurement for industrial applications and harsh environments

Laser level transmitters and sensors are designed to provide high-precision measurement with a focused, narrow beam, making them exceptionally effective in environments with limited access points. These sensors are fully programmable, allowing users to customize their operation to meet specific needs. They excel in measuring a variety of surfaces, including liquids, which makes them incredibly versatile.

Laser Level Sensor

Deliver precise data on the volume and level of materials, aiding in effective inventory management.

The OptioLaser L100 is a non-contact laser sensor used to measure the distance to solid and liquid surfaces, slurries or murky water. Solid surfaces can be anything from a metal plate.

How Does a Laser Level Transmitter Work?

Laser level transmitters operate based on time-of-flight (ToF) technology:

  1. The sensor emits a narrow, high-energy laser beam toward the material surface.
  2. The beam reflects back to the sensor.
  3. The transmitter calculates the level distance based on the time it takes for the laser to return.

Unlike ultrasonic or radar-based sensors, laser level transmitters have an ultra-narrow beam, reducing false readings from tank walls or obstructions.

Laser level transmitters are ideal for industrial applications requiring long-range, high-precision, and fast level measurement. They outperform ultrasonic or radar sensors in dusty or extreme environments, ensuring reliable performance with minimal maintenance.
