Particle Counters

A particle counter is a specialized device used to detect and measure the concentration and size distribution of airborne or liquid particles. 

Particle counters use laser-based optical sensors to count and classify particles based on their size. When air or liquid passes through the device, light scattering, laser diffraction, or condensation particle detection methods are used to analyze the number and size of particles. The results are displayed in particles per cubic meter (P/m³) or per cubic foot (P/ft³).
